I can't believe how cheap TC engines are. I might have to start building choppers again.

Just kinda curious if you had did everything to your 96 that you could have, cams ,head work, tuner, that kind of stuff?
I am at a stage 1 and it's ok, plenty of zip, but I think that an upgrade in cams would be nice.

I have a 2010 96'' with 3200 and a 2011 103'' with 400, the 96'' is 3999.00 in the SE catalog brand new and if you can get 20 off it is even cheaper. I just stuck them under a bench and forgot about them rather than sell them for 1000.00 bucks

I hear ya, the guy who bought it is my tattoo artist that's get his 88 built and needed a throw in cause his new build is gonna take 3 months. I got the 120 installed for 6000 and plan on building it up this winter. The engine is night and day from the 96 though in ten years they'll probably be going for 1500 as well.

unless you plan on keeping your bike forever the best thing to do is keep it, If you sell your bike put it back in keep the 120 for your next bike or sell it.

Wow. $6k for the 120R installed? I need to leave my brandy new 103" alone and do this instead. Let the research begin!

I just picked up one for $2,000. 20,000 OAM with 4,000 miles on a S&S 106 top end and a .555 cam.

That's funny S%$T!

If your gonna keep your bike for ten years then the investment for a 120R is practical. The bike now gets out of it's own way. I have two friends i cannot keep up with as they upgraded there 96 engines and spent 7, 8, $9000 to do so. The throw in 120R took 3 hours to install and now I'm completely satisfied with the bike. By the time I get rid of it they'll be coming out with a 150.

You won't be when you put your cams in. There is no stopping after that! You know what I am saying!
