Pass-i am trying to decide which to go with but can you point me to some place that explains narrow/wide band o2 sencors? Also does the pv have auto tune with the stock sensors? Oh-and what happens if u happen to need a new ecm (not common) or if you trade in your bike? Could the unit be sent to dyno jet to be somehow reset to be used on your next bike?
Narrow and Wide band sensors are just that... The wide band sensors read a broader range. I found a good article on it a while back, I'll see if I can find it again. However, from what I have read the supposedly "wide" band sensors that come on the fuel managers or tuners that we buy aren't true wide band sensors.
The PV comes with a basic auto-tune, but you also have the option of a more robust auto-tune package to attach to it that uses AT-100 wideband band sensors... I'm not sure on the cost, but Jamie can tell you.
As far as I am aware once the thing is married, it is married for life. I am not certain if DynoJet can re-flash them in the event of ECM failure. They might. I'll definitely inquire when I talk to Jamie next week.
