I had my 06 SG in for 10000 service and the brakes have always been noise, the dealer flipped my rotors and noise gone, he said this was a service note from Harley???

Yes that works but the only problem is that the brakes will now squeel when you roll the bike backward and apply the brake, e.g. backing out of your garage or a parking spot. I speak from experience. Had it done on my SG and that was the result. BTW, I can live with the squeel in reverse. LOL!

I agree with the trash comment. This post is not informative at all, it's just like EVERY other post he makes. Sounds like a damn broken record to me.

IMO - if you want quiet and smooth, buy a Gold Wing or sewing machine...

Can someone post a picture of the brake rotors in the correct direction?

Also to the author, slap a PCIII in that bike, I bet it will fix alot of the problems as it did on my bike. Jamie's (fuelmotousa) map really changed my bike.

Whats interesting about this post is how much a newbie the original poster sounds like to say he's owned 14 harleys and such, anybody with a limited knowledge of how the v-twin works would know the 5th gear whine is not a defect, as with how the new starter works, the best thing he could have asked for was more tail lights so he doesnt get hit again! and for all the harley haters, hondas are on sale, and have many new and exciting problems and forums with thousands of **** people just waiting for your opinions. LOL

Why do you keep posting this trash ? do you comb the net trying to find gossip with so called problems with harleys ?
Put some pipes on the bike and you will not hear the tranny , there is nothing wrong with it .
This is the only trash I see here.
