Default 2011 Road Glide exhaust

I just purchased a 2011 RG Custom and I'm having trouble deciding on an exhaust, any ideas? I'm looking for something more towards the louder side. Right now I'm leaning in the direction of V&H big radius. Is this project that anyone can do? Or do you have to bring it to a shop for dyno testing and remapping? Fuel pak or S/E race tuner? Any help would be appreciated thanks

I just purchased a 2011 EG Classic and my guy a Harley is steering me to V&H air cleaner, pipes and Fuel pak. I believe any mods such as intake and mufflers require remap or the fuel pack. My issue is the heat on my right leg - the cat converter has to gooooo!

I will follow this post as I am not sure what I am doing yet! Good luck.

Thanks for the replies. I have been looking around am I'm thinking maybe V&H power duals with monster rounds S/E big breather and dynojet power commander. Any one have that combo that could let me know how it performs/sounds? Thanks

Default mufflers

Nice bike i have the 2011 RK Custom i have the Vance & Hines power duals with monster rounds S/E big breather and the stage one kit. had this installed before i brought the bike home and LOVE THE SOUND OF THE PIPES. and when you twist the trottle you hear the big breather suck in the air. as for power i cant tell you the differance from what it was like stock.

good luck and have fun

I have a 2011 Ultra Limited. With the original 103ci I had in the bike I can honestly say that the Bassani pipes are just slightly louder than stock. I am sure you could modify the baffles but I did not like it. The best sounding exhaust I have heard is honestly the Screaming Eagle exhaust. It is louder than mine was and it looks/fits perfectly. If you are going with true duals then go with the V&H Power Duals with SE tips. Or you can get some Bassani tips but it will be very quiet.

I now have the SE 120R with the V&H Power Duals with the Bassani tips. IT SUCKS BIG TIME. Just as quiet as a stock bike. I am getting the D&D Boarzilla ASAP.

Thanks guys, I think I'm sold on the power duals with monster rounds. I think it's a better fit keeping with the dual look. I will post some pics when I do it. Ride safe!!
