I just replaced my chain drive to gear and S&S 510 cams. I had it out this morning coming to work and I noticed that the lopping gets really noticable at 2k and below. It seems to have no back presurre above 2k and seems not to want to slow down until it gets to 2K. The question is: is this normal and something that I have to get used to? Or is something a miss?

Sorry friend but your description is a little to vague. What year is your bike. What other mods. did you do with the cams etc. Be a little more specific and you may get a little help here.

 

Okay. It is an 06 Ultra with SE AC, V&H fuel pak just upgraded, V&H true duels and slash cut slip-ons. As I said I just put in the 510 cams.

 

Sounds like something is wrong.

I'm rinning the S&S 510Gs on an 09 SG with V&H dresser duals, SE Ventilator A/C, and SEST. It has run great since the day they were installed.
Well, It idled a little high right after install but dialing it in on the dyno fixed that.
