Trade in my Deluxe for a Street Glide?
#11
I recently went through the same sort of decision, although this was going from a RKC to a Street Glide.
I had a plan to essentially turn my RKC into a street glide (fairing, wheels/tires,tailight). But my wife finally nudged me into just trading it in on a 2011 Street Glide...which is what I really wanted.
We figured why have a "Street King" when I could have the real deal, for not much more money? I lost the detachable windshield but I gained the radio and flat black.
I guess the choice is do you want a cool custom deluxe that's setup for you (which yours is!) or a factory street glide?
FWIW, no regrets on my decision. The street glide was the right choice for me.
