V&H Monster Rounds or Ovals ?

I was undecided between the Ovals and Rounds and called V&H before pulling the trigger. They told me that sound levels would be the same, and it was simply a matter of looks. However, the Ovals are wider so there's more potential for scraping in turns. In the end, I went with the Rounds and Power Duals - if I later decide to go with extended bags with cutouts, they will fit nicely over the Rounds.

I've had both: neither is loud,
both have a deep rumble that will vibrate the building when they bring it around out of the shop (that's the only time I get to hear them from a distance).
I do believe the Ovals are a deeper, more rumbly sound.
The Rounds fit perfect with extended bags though.
After a while I got to thinking the Ovals looked to big. Kind of a Honda over-kill look.
The Rounds aren't so "in your face" look as the Ovals.
Buy either one you will be happy if you don't want a loud pipe.

I've not owned a set but have seen and heard both. I like the looks and sound of the rounds better. "Not so in your face" is a good way to put it.
