Iridiums are fine imho. Have used them in past bikes and current. Not really sure there is any performance difference except lasting longer. Probably go back to standard Autolite or NGK.

Did they give you a valid reason why other than cost more?

Thanks much!
I've found a place to buy two (2) of the Denso Iridium Power IXU22 Spark Plugs for $17 (shipping included), so I think I can afford them.
The reason I ask, because as I have mentioned in the previous post; after 12k of riding my new bike (2010 FLHTK), I have found out that that plugs have been out off spec since the first day.
During the process of re-gapping the plugs, I am not very comfortable with the way I've done (pry with a screw driver), so I better ask.

Get cha either one of these you have a better feel adjusting the gap than using pliers. JMHO.

Measure it up! Why do you let people tell you what it is.
Who does suspect that the gap of the OEM plugs from HD are out of spec. as I have encountered?

Who cares really what I've been told...I don't use them anyways, the Iridium's that is!

As far as the HD's, I've alway's pre-adjusted mine before installing.
