im picking up a 2012 street glide wensday (tequila sunrise) as well ( great minds think alike lol ) and i ordered the 3.5 but the order wont go in till tomorrow morning and im gonna call the minute they open and change them to 4 inch cause a friend said they will have more of a throaty sound ( espiecally with head pipes, fuel and air) and a bigger muffler will match the street glide better...Congrats on the new scoot...love that color

Question

$200 cheaper than Rineharts ? How much are u paying for them. My dealer is asking the exact same as Rineharts. Like $529.00 I may wait for a verdict on the yellowing people are mentioning. Hate to spend that much only to have them turn color. Keep us updated !! And Thanks...

Update!!!! I have put 8200+ miles on the pipes and haven't seen any yellowing or anything! No blemishes of any kind and all I do is wipe them down every so often. I got a set of 09 headers and put them on as well and it just got better. Just adding to the post. Quality pipes IMO.

I have a pair of the RCX-Haust "slash down" slip-ons on my 2012 Road King. They're hooked to a V&H Power Dual header. Nice looking and nice sounding muffler, but are on the loud side (not noisy, but loud - like wicked). Only got a couple thousand miles on them, but quality seems good. As Vivid Glide 103 says, just wipe 'em down to keep them looking good. I got mine for $347 out the door at my dealer, but they're "slash downs" which are cheaper than the tipped kind.

I would like to buy some, because they are around $ 200.00 cheaper than Rinehart's. Plus, I also like the tips better than the Rinehart's.
I have had mine on my bike for about 3500 miles now and have not had any yellowing at all. The chrome still looks brand new no issues at all.

$529.00??? I first saw them on a bike at a dealership and said to myself I have to have them. Checked around and got them from Eastern Performance for $379.00 TTD.
