Heated Gloves
I'm thinking of picking up a pair of H/D heated gloves. How are they hooked up? I see they come with a wire that can be run up the sleeve but where would a good power sourse be. I like the idea I saw here about using the spare switch but I'm not sure how to run the wire to it. Also is there a heat adjustment for these or are they an on/off set up? Are there heated gloves that you folks like better than the H/D ones?

HD gloves are made by Gerbings. The Gerbings ones are a bit cheaper than the HD labeled ones.
You hook them up buy putting a wiring harness on your battery. The gloves come with a long wire that run down each sleeve and meets in a Y at your waist where you plug it to your harness that you put on the bike. You can get a thermostat to regulate the heat output if you choose or just use an on/off switch.
Here is a good location for the wiring harness on a Touring model.

RE: Heated Gloves
Gerbing has 2 styles of gloves available. The G3 and the Classic. I heard the G3 is less bulky than the Classic so you may want to try both before you decide...........BG
