Default Apes to Heritage bars?

I am wanting to change out my 16" apes to Heritage bars on my RK. What length of cables would I need to purchase also?

Put back on the stock cables and they should work fine.

Did the same thing. stock cables work, I would assume that the stock clutch would work but I cannot confirm as I have a hydraulic clutch.

Thanks for the input, unfortunately the bike has never had stockbars (came from the dealership that way), so I will need to buy the stock length cables. At least I know what will work now.

I just did that exact same thing on my 2011 RK.
It came with the 16" apes and I went to the heritage bars

Replaced the clutch & brake cables.

I'll look for the part numbers when I get home tonight

What are you going to do with the old bars, old wires, etc.?

Thanks guy's!

rkramchuck - It's a 2006 FLHRSI/ROAD KING CUSTOM

semiret - that would be much appreciated, thank you

SteelCityRider - I haven't decided yet, as the bars actually have some minor surface scratches and the clutch cable has a spot that the plastic rubbed off and has alittle fraying. Doesn't affect the functionality, just an eye sore when up close.
