The air bubbles are normal I have seen this on several HD's I have changed the oil on and the valvetrain sounded fine on these bikes. I know when i changed my cams I did not touch the oil pump I left it there in the case and did not disturb the o-ring in the back. I went through the procedure and had someone turn the rear tire with the clutch engaged and in 6th gear and i tightened it using the sequence in the manual.

 

Interesting, I wonder if I should just do the lifters first? That being said I'm kind of tired of going into the thing and just want it fixed.
