Default Gps help

I am thinking about GPS for my StreetGlide. What do you suggest and how do you mount it? Can you hear it?
Thanks for your input!

Do a search on "GPS" and you'll find quite a few threads with various options.
Here is how I did mine.

the only way u can hear it is to plugg it into your aux port on the headunit, but u must leave it set to aux to get the voice command but most garmin model will hold mp"3 and mute those for voice commands, unless u use blue tooth.i never listen to mine not even in the car, jsut glance at it every now nd then.mounting option are endless handlebars are most common but kuryakin makes a fueldoor mount and theres a bunch of options for fairing mount. oh and get a garmin.

I recently purchased a garmin nuvi 755T refurbished for about $130. I then purchased a ram mount for it. Next was the headphone out to aux patch cord. Beats $800+ for a zumo.

Zumo 665 mount it on the fairing and plug it in on the aux port on the stereo works perfect and as a mp3 player, xm, weather you cant go wrong. The only thing is you can only work the volume and you have to touch screen all the command instead of the interface by HD to use your handle bar controls. It mutes the music when directions or weather alert comes on. The only way to fly in my opinion. PM me if you have any questions or want pics of mine I love it.

I've got the Garmin Zumo 660 with the HD dash mount kit. Like the kit since it plugs right into existing connectors behind the fairing and turns off when you turn the bike off.
