Just one question here...Why would you want another Street Glide after your '09 ?. I would want to try another touring model so I can enjoy sharing stories with my friends when it comes to discussions.

Good Luck,

Thorey
probably loves the styling.

Not to trade the bike, if he's not going to extend the warranty, I would upgrade the engine, have them look at it while its apart, correct the problem and come out with a better engine. If not extending the warranty or upgrading the engine, I would be trading the bike real soon. I would add up the price of depreciation, sales tax, and cost difference, and think about it for awhile before I made a move.

+1 I would be looking at the cost of warranty and trade compared to that new 120 motor.

For what you're going to take in $$$ loss on trade - you can buy a new motor. That's the route I would take...JMO.

That's true......this could be 120R time for you...

Downside is that damned clutch pull, IMHO.

I would push the dealer / HD to extend warranty for free since they can not fixe the problem . Next since the motor is apart pay the extra for engine upgrades that will be covered by the warranty .

Any expierences out there? What kind of deals have you been offered for the exact same but 2 years newer streetglide, and also, what deals offered for the 103 motor upgrade??

The main reason I feel like I need to part with some cash is the nagging weird engine vibration that no one can seem figure out, has now resulted in a exploratory engine tear down to check for bearing tolerances.
Not the way I want to go out of warranty! Tic-tic-tic-tic
Did anyone check your compensator??? or exhaust mounts?? I think your wasting money.Take the bike to a reputable tuner who can fix it!!!

Congrats!

Does it have cruise? What color?

With your powerpak, you get more than just the engine, you get ABS and the Security system.

The engine is more than just a bored 96....it comes with automatic compression releases and the oil cooler.

Also, for 2011 the primary comes with the compensator.
