Default Correct monotube fork oil

Hi - I am in the middle of changing my suspension and have a question. The instructions online for the Progressive monotube fork oil states 10w which I have purchased for this reason. I have the instructions in the box and they state 20w which I dont have. I do have a pint of screamin eagle heavy which I think is 15W.

Can anyone advise if the 10 or Heavy is suitable for the application? Or will I have to wait until tomorrow and go buy the 20w?

I have the 1" lowered monotube.

Thanks
Mike

I don't think changing wt would make any difference. The instructions state that the 10wt oil is just for lubricating the internals. The monotube is sealed with the proper damping oil inside.

I would say, stick with the 10wt recommended.
