How many RK owners have swapped out their seat for a SG or RG seat?
Sitting on a 2011 SG at the dealer and the seat seems to be a little more supportive and lower than the stock RK seat.
Appears to be a low cost item to try before sinking 5-600 into a Mustang setup......(where I may end up anyways because I love their products)
Just wondering how many RK owners have made this change?

I changed my stock 2010RK seat for a 2010SG seat - I also have a Sundowner
for long trips....
I use the SG seat for short haul under 200 miles or so - a bit on the hard side though
Sundowner for 250 and up - took a 500 mile one day trip on it - great seat for long haul -
a little bulky looking but very comfy
I use a riders backrest on both the seats
As for the stock seat - When I bought the bike I had a 35 mile ride home -
the worst seat I ever sat on..IMO - monkey butt after 25 miles - bought the Sundowner the next day.
FYI a SG has a lower suspension via lower shocks than an RK

I have both the Sundowner and the SG seat. The SG seats look a lot better, but I wouldn't use it for more than an hour. The Sundowner is pretty comfortable and I can use my backreat. You need an adjustable backrest, or to put the fixed version in the forward position to use a backrest with the SG seat. I got a 2010 SG on the classifieds here for $135 delivered. There are always some on eBay for about the same price.
