Don't rush your mods.
Touring? Well I changed to a HD Sundowners seat. It's cushy and the woman likes the pillion. I've also added a Garmin Zumo 450 (non HD unit.) it is great if you get lost or want to find a Hotel for 100 miles down the road.
A stereo upgrade is nice- I went Hawg Wired it rocks!!
Highway pegs, I had the 360 mounts and streamliner pegs, but I've got short legs.
Cams and performance is nice, but do you want your warranty? Big debate there. I put Andrews 26H cams and with slip on SE exhaust, and SE Heavy Breather Lonewolf got 100 ft-lb. & 89 HP. (substantial to say theleast)
But now I've got the 120r, so you get the bug…
A rack and backrest? Well I prefer the tourpak for the long haul and the woman loves the backrest. But a standard backrest is nice if you want to run stripped down. I sold mine, but am contemplating re-buying one. (I know, I know)
It's endless, so just pick a route and get er Rollin,
Have fun!!
