TW-555 install and Fuel Moto Map issue
Guys I have installed the TW-555's with a SE Heavy Breather and CFR's. I have tried several maps from FM with mixed results. The bike runs great in 4 - 6 gear. My problem is when you are in 1,2 it is spitting, sputtering and flat out not running until you run the RPMS about 2250. Running in the mountains 30 - 35 mph the bike will just not run smooth and feels like it is struggling to make HP. Anybody running this combo that has run into similar problems? What did it take to fix it??? Struggling here

This is a common problem with any cam that has lots of overlap. It causes reversion and can mess up your mixture. You are too lean in the off idle and low cruise area. That cam is not going to cruise below 2000 rpms anyway. If you know how to make changes to the map you need to richen the 2% to 20% throttle position 10% in the 1000 to 3000 area. Also look at the area for front and rear and see if it is extra lean in that area. It won't hurt anything except mileage to make these changes. If idle rpm is varying with you it probably need leaning out. We run around -15 on front and -13 on the rear with quite mufflers with 2 1/2 baffles you may have to go to -20 to get it to settle down. I had to make the exact changes you are talking about on a 2010 Triglide with a t-man 55c cam. Very near the same specs as your cam. You can play with it and probably get it to work. Don't be suprised if you have to adjust a few times to get it right. When you have a popping pay attention to the throttle position and the rpm as that is what you look at on the map to make changes. You can also add the autotune addon and it will eventually tune the pop out. Autotune will make life much simplier with the large overlap cams.
