Default Khrome Werks Bars

Anyone have experience with the Khrome Werks 10 inch sweepers for e-glide (part#300502). I'm basically looking for a flatter hand angle than stock and less reach would be okay. I'm 5' 7", will these bars help me? Thanks for any input you guys may have.

I think you would be happy with the 300505's which are the +2 sweepers. That's what I run. I'm assuming this is for your 99 otherwise it would be the 300515's for TBW bikes.

Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me a bit more about your bars, how is the height compared to stock, how is the reach changed if at all, and what does the +2 indicate? Overall why do you prefer the 300505? You are correct this is for my 99; I think I'm stuck with this bike, I really enjoy it and it's not worth much on the market.

I love my +2 sweepers; good price, good chrome, more comfortable, natural wrist angle with a little pull back, also drilled and wired them internally pretty eaisily.

Thanks Fabrik8er, were you able to use stock cables and wires?

You would need new clutch cable and throttle/idle cables. Clutch you can use 38649-98. The throttle/idle cables from HD I used are obsolete now so you would have to get aftermarket. Brake cables are fine and won't need changing.

I didn't know I could corner as good as I could. Makes the bike feel very nimble.
Really like mine.

initially I used all stock cables and lines; tweaked the front brake line with no problem, throttle/idle were not an issue at all. I ran the clutch cable outside the fairing just so I could ride immediately, ended up running that way over a year, but you do need a longer clutch cable to properly route through the fairing. I finally got all new lines/cables + length on all. I knew I was going to get the nice cables eventually so I didn't see the sense in buying a new temporary clutch cable to match the rest of my stock black cables.

Sweeper +2, The wrist angle is great compared to stock. I believe they are 2" pullback and 2" wide and 2" wider about 34" wide

I took Dawg's advance and installed the KW on my Ultra, and love them. plus as a bonus these bars really open up the dash. I have a Garmin 660 installed on the handle bars and before the KW bars it was hard to see the fuel gauge. Not any more.
