Can ah add one other suggestion here? Given the vibration inherent in the bike, do yerself a favor an' add another layer of insulation over any electrical wire or bundle. It's a matter of time for vibration ta rub through, so the more protected it is, the better! I've seen insulation wear occur on some of the most "vibration-free" bikes out there, an' more than one that's burned because of insulation wear-through.

 

Probably not a bad idea since it'll all be apart anyway. I've got some large heat shrink that I can put around the areas where there will be a bend in the wire or where it contacts metal - like on the exit from the holes.

Just ordered the last bits for this little upgrade and the bill was 4x more than I originally planned...

 

Housings came yesterday. Still waiting on the bars, clamp etc..



Also found a guy on ebay selling chrome bolts for the primary and all the covers.
