So I finished up with my Stage 1, which included a Fuel Moto Screaming Eagle air cleaner assy. Bike sounds GREAT! Completely different. I can't wait to take it for a ride. The only issue I noticed is that the air cleaner now sits farther out creating a difficult rear braking situation. I installed the Harley Goodie Floor board extensions as one of my very first upgrades so footboard position with the new air cleaner is still a non issue. To correct for the now uncomfortable brake position, I ordered one of the extended pedals that allows me to keep my stock brake pad and it also has a 1 1/4" added length and pad. Anybody else find this to be an issue? Anybody add this extended pedal and hows it work? I really like to have a comfortable position on my rear brake because I use it so often for even such simple maneuvers as tight U- Turns etc. Thanks

 

Same here, and did the exact same thing you did. They helped quite a bit. I also bought the extended foot rest from HD (pn# 50409-04).

It'll feel a little funny at first, but you'll get used to it. Depends on how big your feet are too.
