Hey doc, didnt you have a road king classic or were thinking bout one? Did you get the streetglide instead? Think I talked to you bout bars on the classic in the past. I seriously can't imagine the bike I have now being any hotter running.....can't imagine it hotter. And its only in the 80's here so far.

Traded the RKC towards the Street Glide.

What do you mean when you say you can't imaging your bike being any hotter?

You put on a true dual cat-less head pipe, and it still runs hot?

Thanks

What mufflers are you using?

Thanks
Its not that it is much louder, well it is but not by much. It has a nice low tone and sounds like a Harley should! I put the rinehart 3.5" slip ons on the bike when i bought it and it didnt really sound any different from stock to be honest with you, by putting the jackpot header on it brought all the sound back. Which can be accomplished by removing the cat from the stock header to if money is an issue! I chose the jackpot for the reason i can install my stock header if the laws on emissions change here in Minnesota and also by reading about fuel moto's reputation here on the forum. They are a top notch company imo.

Well when I say I can't imagine it being hotter, its because I rode it home with the modifications already done. With that said, in the 7 hd's I've had, it seems to be the hottest. Maybe its the lower fairings, I don't know. It is the first one I've had with the lowers. Just seems hotter with this one. Do you miss your RKC? I miss mine.......

Not at all. I liked it, especially the look, but it just wasn't right-out-of-the-box comfortable like my Street Glide. I didn't want the headache of having to swap seat, bars, shocks, etc.

I ran the Jackpot Dyno tuned mufflers with PCV on my Limited for a couple weeks while I waited on the headpipe. Ran well that way but not any louder than stock...although it did have a better tone!
There is a definite difference in the heat though....but sometimes I wish I had just saved my money on the headpipe and put a louder muffler combo on!
But I do like the Fuel Moto setup(PCV,Breather,Headpipe,Mufflers) and they are good to deal with!

Did you keep the OEM mufflers?

save the money and gut your stocker. There are plenty of posts how to do it. Took me less than 3 hours start to finish.
