I am looking at two RK's and I am stuck on which one to buy. Both look nice, sound nice, run good, and dont have any obvious problems. Both are fuel injected.

#1 - 2002 RK. 27K miles. Excellent condition. Lots of extras. All maint records, etc. VERY firm on price.

#2 - 2001 RKC. 17K miles. Excellent condition. A few added doo-dads and an HD touring saddle (a blank slate for me to start with). No maint records. Front tire is close to replacement. Oil changed "every year whether it needed it or not". Current price is $8250.

Go for the 2002. It's has Delphi injection, forged crank and timken crank bearings.

 

2002. Agreed for the same reason.

Both have the same crank and timken bearing setup, but the two big differences are the delphi fuel injection and the upgraded swingarm. The swingarm alone is reason enough to go with the 02.

 

Better.

 

02 is supposed to be a better FI..i have a 01,no complaints so far..
