Captain Itch's Crotch Cooler takes about 2 minutes to install and I am certain does a better job of keeping the heat off.

This is amazing. How did we get here from "HOW DO YOU TIGHTEN THE UPPER BOLT ON THE RIGHT SIDE HEAT SHIELD"?

You must trend very lightly on this forum

Check your rear tire.

Yes, indeed, but you must admit it sure snaps you out of the doldrums when you can come here and watch people pissing all over each other.....makes my day.....sometimes.

Funny, because "Marvin" actually WAS my inpiration for my Silly Avatar - to make people laugh.

What was your inspiration for that door trim? And why do you want people laughing at it?
You should do around your tires next trend setter. Is that leather diaper studded! Man... that is real nice.

The "door trim" was/is to go with the windshield trim, but I don't suppose that you have any chrome on your bike? The "silly" thing was only a joke, not meant to be taken serious, much as you said your Avatar is/was.
No offense.

As far as the "leather diaper" comment goes, it was handmade in this country, not by a machine in Tai Wan or China. Many consider it to be a heat shield that is on and off in 5 seconds. A very reputable sponsor of this forum's wife made it. I'll make sure and pass on the compliment to him and his wife.

As far as trend setting goes, I'll work on it.
Thanks.

after about 2 hours of searching finally found mine on top of the swing arm pivot other than that no problem with install on newer models. as far as looks,I like captain Itch's stuff just fine on some bikes, just don't think they would look too good on my street glide.I had mine painted when I did the inner fairing
