Didnt know it has a gas guage on it, how accurate is that?

Hard to say, theoretically it should be the same because its fed by the same resistance value that comes off the sensor that also goes to the analog gauge.

It seems to report that its fuller than the analog gauge.

I just take the average, LOL

That's how the 6th gear light indicator works, too. You infer a gear based on engine speed and wheelspeed.

And its never been wrong in my experience.

Under the left side cover, below the fuses, you will see 2 parallel connectors, its the top gray one with a rubber plug in it.
