Default 80w harman kardon 2011 FLTRU

Anyone kept track of the Harman Kardon systems through the years? I just bought a 2011 FLTRU yesterday and it's got an 80w system. Didn't this system start as 20w back in 06?

Woe, guess I need to update my signature.

The HK has always been 20W per channel. Your bike has 4-channel so 4 X 20= 80.

Ok thanks, so this is the same system that's been on Ultra's since 06. I haven't heard it on the road yet, I pick up the bike in two weeks.

They are good sounding systems. A word of caution, they are not as water resistant as they should be. Had to swap my head unit on the 06 ultra after water shorted out the display.

The new one sounds decent, but is still hard pressed when the speedo goes above 65.

Some where down the line (after the stage 1, a new winshield, a Lenale fan...ect) a set of J&M Rokkers are waiting for me... Of course then I will need an amp...

J&M Rokker is the way to go to upgrade. I just installed the 500 watt amp and front 7.25" and rear 5.25". Off the charts. The install wasn't bad either. I found the best deal from Dr. V-Twin in California.
