In a large city like Chicago, that would be suicide. Too many jerks on the road who don't know how to drive in the rain, talk on their cell phones, or texting. Almost been hit several times by these morons, and that was in good weather. To each his own I guess.
You hit it on the head. It even sucks driving my pickup in the rain in NYC. Peoples heads go right up their *** when the roads get wet.
I bet a co-worker that I could ride my bike to work every day in April. So far so good. I've rode in rain, wet slushy snow and high wind. My textile suit keep me warm and dry. I commute on my BMW so my Harley stays nice and clean.
Rain makes corn, corn makes whiskey, whiskey makes my honey feel a little frisky
Good one dawg!!!

I don't mind so much riding in the rain unless it is at night. Get a good rain suit like the HD Hi Vis and ride!!!
I'm making the best of this really crappy weather. First 5 day forecast stretch of rain, sent my seat to MCC, and the 2 rides I got in since confirm very good work by MCC.
It is now supposed to rain, heavily I might add, 7 of the next 8 days here in beautiful MI. So I'm sending my rear shocks to Bitchin Baggers to lower 1.25". After my handlebar mods are done mid next week, I expect to be riding in the perfect comfort zone just in time for nice weather.
been raining here in akron for 20 days now, i just get on it and go,i am not one to wait on the perfect day, i get my 6 months of rideing in the hard way
