Default Air Horn Recommendations.....

I like some recommendations to an air horn for my FLHP....I know some folks might say that it won't make a difference because when you use your horn it may be too late....But to me I would not hesitate to use it on a woman texting or putting on make up before passing her. just kidding....

I like the howards horns.....I never heard any up close but on you tube, they sound like a Mac truck.

Smile Horn

Run down to Wally World get an air horn in the marine section, spray paint it black and your all set. Cheap, easy to replace, and very efficient.

I have an AlloyArt air horn. It looks good and it sounds terrific. I like it so much that I sometimes hit it just to see the looks on peoples faces. It wakes them up for sure.
I heard too many negatives about Howards Horns so I never even looked at them.

Here are my horns, MetalArts, unhook the stock horn and plug in the air horns. Takes all of 5 minutes:

Howards Horns are way too unreliable.
Here in Australia their name is synonymous with the Black Death, syphilis, Islam - anything but reliable.

Go with Rivco. You won't find a better air horn. Personal experience.

I can't speak for other brands, but my Rivco air horns have been installed for 4½ years with no problems. Very loud. If someone can't hear these at a great distance they are deaf, and it gives me a great sense of security knowing they will hear me when used.

I also have Rivco on my '09 Ultra Classic. They have been mounted for almost a year now and still working great.
