I know there are a lot of posts and everyone has a different opinion and different results. i think I've read them all. I'd like to read from any of you that may have had experience with both the 8" Windvest and 8" LRS Phantom on their Road Glide. I have a 2010 and will replace the stock shorty very soon. I want to make 1 purchase and hopefully have it be the right one. I'm 5"7", so any height challenged feedback would be extremely helpful. I want to look over not through a windshield. Thanks all.

 

I used a windvest on a Dyna. It isn't the same as you want. I think windshields are ugly, so they should be kept at a minimum, imo. I used the windvest because the turn-out top adds to the windshield's effectivity by 2". I liked it.

Pulled the plug last night and bought an 8" Windvest/Black off eBay. $125.99, free shipping. Brand new. I think either would have worked fine, this seemed like the better of the 2 after all the research I've done. It better be, not going to buy another.

 

How did this turn out for you?

 

I'm 6'1" and run a 14" windvest and love it! Even though it's 14" I can still easily see over the top ...
