Fuel Moto Package Report and Question
I called Fuel Moto on Monday with lots of questions about the right package for my 2006 FLXHI. Keith was very patient and helpful, and recommended the SE air cleaner; Jackpot 4 inch Dyno Tuned Slip Ons; and the Power Commander V.
Thursday my items arrived via UPS. Fast shipping. I installed them today and WOW! What a difference! Before, anything over 4,000 RPM was just noise... it was done pulling. Now, it's pulling strong right up to the redline. Highly illegal speeds are very easily attainable and the motor does run cooler.
I do have a question. I'm still hitting the rev limiter at 5,500 RPM. Does that mean that Rev Xtend (or whatever it's called) is not enabled on my PCV? I read in another thread that the tach is inaccurate with throttle-by-wire bikes running PCV, and that the tach only reads 5,000 RPM when in reality it's at 6,200 RPM. Is that the case with non-TBW bikes as well, or is something else amiss?
Overall, A+ for customer service. A+ for shipping. A+ for quality. A+ for value. A+ for performance. Very happy Fuel Moto customer.

I Just got my V&H power duals, V&H twin slash Mufflers, and PCV from the big brown truck and Fuel Moto yesterday and succesfully installed all the items also and am VERY VERY happy, Pleased, Extatic etc. etc..... Anyways from what i understand unless you get the stage 1 download to your ecm then yes the tach will stop but actuall rpms may be higher. you can use the software and hook a computer to your PCV and check if it is enabled.. Mine was not from Jaime at fuel moto and chose to leave it off.
