was his shop on St.Charles rock road close to hwy 70 by any chance? i live about 3 blocks south of the airport got real lucky it didn't hit my house, but a lot of my friends got damage
sure was, it was on the local news, they zoomed in on us loading the entire back wall of the shop into dumpsters. Sooo much stuff was just tossed around. I worked over night last night and into this morning, We are hoping the shop will sort of open tomorrow...
It was just stuff, I can replace mine easy enough but to see all the damage is enough to make you cry, soo many people lost everything, not a stick on a stick left.
You all would enjoy the weather here in Tulsa. You can pretty much ride all year round, if you want to. You just wear warmer clothes on some days. I left Ohio in 1981. don't miss it much. You just deal with the weather wear ever you live. Fortunately, we have more dry, warmer days than most. I ride a lot of times when its in the 30's-40's. I only missed 14 days of riding last winter due to a blizzard and record snow. But I ride 7 days a week otherwise. You just have to watch out for the hail, tornados. grass fires and flash floods, and high winds. But I would take all that compared to butt deep snow for months. Good riding to you all.
Sittin here in NYC. Rain falling all around me. Seems like the rain picked up where the snow left off. Drove my daughter upstate last week to see a college, and it snowed.
