It's just not in Ohio my friend...Northern Illinois sucks also...35 degrees for a high this past Tuesday and rain...this spring has really sucked so far this time last year I was riding daily!
Southern Ohio isn't much better. Raining like a sum bitch right now, weatherman says to expect 3-4 inches of rain over next two days. When the sun finally does comes out, I won't have time to ride cause I'll be too busy mowing the freaking grass.
I took the bike out of storage in the middle of March and have had three good rides for a total of about 350 miles. Ain't no better here in north central Ohio. I live in New Washington and drive 60 miles roundtrip to work everyday. It's a hell of a lot cheaper when I can ride the scoot. "So it goes."
I moved from Cleveland to Cincinnati. We get an extra month of spring and an extra month of fall. It was a much bigger climate difference than I expected. That said we are getting way too much rain. Flood warnings everywhere. I miss Cleveland, but the weather is much better here.
Im in Greenville, Ohio and yea it has been wet and windy, I have managed to put about 500 miles on my 2010 Road King but it hasnt been in very good conditions. I bass fished tournaments for 25 years and you fished no matter what the weather was. I got too old and gas got too high so I sold the boat and bought a Harley. I love it! Im just glad I dont have to ride in bad weather unless I choose to. It will get better! It has to!!!
I feel your pain, weather here in N.W. Pa. sucks also, something is always blowing in off of Lake Erie, bike hasen't even seen the road yet this year thats pretty bad for april 22, suppose to warm up but rain all weekend.
Sitting here at the PC and looking out the window after last nights torrential rain storm and the sky is clearing. Just might get out today for a short ride. What global warming?
