Is the 2011 Streetglide seat that much better than the earlier ones?

I have a custom seat on order, and wonder if I should just toss the stocker in the trash.

Mine is the most confortable seat I've ever had on a motorcycle, definitely an HD.

 

I have a 2010 Street Glide, stock seat on that was garbage. I bought a 2011 seat based upon what I read in this forum. There is no comparison, it is far better what came on the 2010. From what I've read, it's one that can be modified further by someone like Mean City Cycles where the 2010, there's not much you could do with it. No idea how it would compare to some of the custom seats, but I also tried an HD Reach Seat and the 2011 stock seat is much better and it only cost me $!60.

 

Are you thinking about selling it?

 

I have a new 2010 StreetGlide seat in a box collecting dust in my garage. Crap seat! Get yourself a C&C seat......the best for the money!

 

Already ordered a custom LePera King Cobra seat. Leather with vinyl on the sides...custom stitched flames down the center....all black.

Gotta keep what I have for 3 weeks. but yes, it is for sale...but no delivery until my new seat gets here.

I can't speak for anyone else but the 2011 seat for me has been comfortable.
