So glad that youre both ok, and thank you for the reminding testament about wearing a helmet. As obvious as it may seem to many folks, some of us still need to be reminded once in awhile...

Glad you are both going to be fine and you are looking at your next ride. I have been very happy with my denim black X. One of the previous posts recommended a 103, I agree.

Take it easy and heal up. Maybe you'll be back in the saddle before summer is over. Take care!

Personally, I never have to be reminded to wear a helmet or shoes when I ride. I used to ride dirt bikes, and I feel naked if I get on a bike without one.

Nothing yet, but after seeing it, I sure hope they do, with the frame and forks bent, fluids leaking, and everything else... I'd feel better.

I had the same EXACT thing happen to me last October. When you t-bone someone you really don't notice the damage untill you start actually looking. Its not like your bike slid down the highway at 60 mph. I am a firm believer in helmets also. I am only 22 years old and none of my friends wear them, and give me **** for wearin my brain bucket. I feel naked without mine and would highly suggest (even tho not "cool") that everyone where one! Glad to hear you are ok!!!

Heal well & any accident you walk away from is a good one. There are two kind of accident survivors...those who wear helmets & those who wish they did. Glad to hear you're still going bike shopping - good luck w/the search & '12's are coming out soon. Probably not the way you wanted to get a new scoot, but might as well make the best of it.
