Default Did Chrome front end kit this evening......

I decided to upgrade the front of my scoot to the Harley Chrome front kit which has the Lowers, Upper Slider Covers(Cow Bells), Wheel spacers, Axel nut covers and drain screws. So basically everything you need except new seals and Fork oil.

Don't be affraid to tackle this job on your own if your contiplating it. I was a little nervous but with 1 friend a few beers and the Service manual it took a total of three hours from start to finish including cleanup.

Now to just save for those rotors and wheels.

Looks great! Polish those rotors yourself and save some cash, pretty easy to do!

Good job. Looks great!

I got the chrome forks installed before I picked up the bike. My front end is lowered and I've got stock springs and dampers coming. I'm a little unsure about pulling the forks and installing the new parts. Glad you thought it wasn't too bad. I'll probably try it in a couple of weeks, after we get back from Texas Hill country ride.

I've polished 3 sets of rotors now. Start with 80 grit sandpaper on a handheld sander and work all the way up to about 1500 grit. I can do a set in about an hour.

Almost puked when I read the title as I thought you went for the chrome front fender, Way too gaudy looking for me and I am a chrome junkie. Bike looks great!!!
