Default New Rinehart exhaust tips

Ever since I bought my bike used last year it's bugged me that the right exhaust tip is slightly lighter in shade than the left. Yesterday, while checking out J&P I noticed Performance Machine has a new line of exhaust tips that will fit 3.5" Rineharts so I ordered a set. They are brand new and there is a small delay until J&P gets them so I'll let everybody know how they look when I get them.
There are several other styles available other than this style that I ordered in case you're interested. $99/pr

Caution, these PM tips are shown as a pair at JP's but they are actually priced per tip. I found that out the hard way when a single tip showed up at my door today.

Wow! That's crap! I called asap and she told me that mine were sold as a pair so i better get two!!
Thanks for the heads up. You might want to call if you haven't already.
Mine have also been on backorder for two weeks.

Mine were backordered as well. I can guarantee you that when you get your order it will be for a single tip and not a pair. Their site says it's for a pair but it is incorrect and the manager I spoke with is going to notify their internet department to get the description changed.
Because of the mistake they sold me a second tip for half off with free shipping. I think that's fair because, honestly, I thought they were priced too low for a pair of PM tips to begin with and thought it may be a mistake even though I confirmed that it was for a pair before I ordered.

On a positive note, they really are a nice piece of billet aluminum!

That stinks. I really appreciate your info. I would hate to get one and then wait another two weeks to get the other. Just called and got the second added to the order, but since it hadn't shipped yet, I paid for both. It's worth it though. I would be irate to get only one after waiting.
Thanks again.

I finally received my second tip today and installed them this evening. The job is easy and is a one beer project. The only thing I would caution is to make sure the screws are not cross threaded into the tip because they will strip pretty easily (I had one that did). All in all, they are not very inexpensive at $99ea but they do look much better than the Rinehart tips.
Sorry for the poor pic quality:
