Default harley custom paint jobs

Hey how are the custom jobs that the mock does? Are they comparable in price to having someone paint it? They look nice, just curious if people actually do it.

I say do your own or have a painter work with you so you get exactally what you want. It will truly be custom not something off the shelf. IMO

I think they do outstanding work. Perhaps the best thing about Harley is their paint. They are a little on the spendy side though. You can find a good custom painter that will usually do the same job cheaper. Mine is a mixture of both. Moco custom paint on fenders, side covers, saddlebags, and tank, and my painter on the front fairing to match. I guess it depends on what you really want.

They do very good work but getting together with a good painter and designing your own might be more satisfying. If you know a good painter.

I like mine, but you can get a nice paint job for about half of the price.

I have a custom paint set on my sportster. The quality is first rate. I bought the set off Ebay brand new but several years after the paint set was introduced. I got the three piece set for $900. I could never have gotten the bike painted by a custom painter for anywhere near that.

I believe Harley farms out the custom paint schemes. They may be designed by Harley but the actual paint work is done out of house.

At the risk of sounding dumb....the factory Sedona Orange looks every bit as good as a "custom" orange candy over a gold base....'casue that's what it is.

Attitude Custom Paint is who I recommend. If I ever change mine up, he will get the nod. Think Kryptonite green with black ghost flames.....
