I think you would find that it's a bitch to perfectly match powdercoat to paint. You may be able to match the paint to the powdercoat though, not sure. I powder-coated the lower forks on my Fatboy several years ago to match the blue paint on the tank. It was a perfect match in the lighting in the shop, not so great out in the sun. I couldn't live with the difference and pulled them back off.

you can not use bondo... i braze or use lead... here is a fender i just finished body working last night

we coat tins in the shop all the time bud... have done a few sets for members on here as well... my bike is 100% powder
also we wet sand and buff our gloss

Well I dont need any body work unless it gets stripped and there is something I dont know about. I emailed Joe 2 days ago, no reply.

Get used to long reply times from Joe. It took him almost two months to get my pieces back to me. Always 2-3 days to respond to emails, and never would answer his phone, much less call me back, even after requesting him to several times. Bike is still being worked on to fix his rewiring of my driving/turns signals. Won't send him any more business...ever. Find a powdercoater close to you, someone you can talk to face to face. Less chance of getting jerked around if they know you can show up.
