They are definatly louder than stock.

Did you check the decibal rating before buying?
Do you have inspections or just worried about getting pulled over?

Does the local pd have a noise decibel meter or are they going just by ear?

Mine was too loud for me. Ordered the quiet baffle now just right. About half between what you have now and stock.

I have jackpot slipons with a PCV controller with 2 maps installed (power and economy) and I find that when I run it in economy mode that the motorcycle is much quieter, or at least it seems quieter....

I have not yet been pulled over(only been out 2x so far)but on the jackpot web site the db rates show the #'s i was looking for which were just under the legal limit,92 at idel and 96 at 2000rpm.Like i said i have not been pulled over(yet) but i just know it will not pass.If someone has a quite baffle i would love to try it and hope it works, other wise i wasted my money and should have just put on the stock mufflers!

I just put the quiet baffle in our 09 Street Glide and it is close to stock at idle but if you want it to rumble a little it will if you give it some extra gas. For someone like me who does not want a lot of noise but still a good sound, the quiet baffle is a good choice.

With the stock head pipe with the cat in it my dyno tuned Jackpot mufflers weren't very loud at all. Just a nice deep tone. Now that I've put on the V&H Power Duals they are pretty loud. They still sound great though. But I also bumped up the displacement to 107", compression to 10.3:1 and installed Andrews 54H cams at the same time so that may be part of it as far as the increased noise.

Anyone have a quite baffle to get rid of? Would like to try it to see if that will do the trick, not just for the police side but for the ringing in my head.

They are louder than my Screaming Eagle touring slipons were. I really like them and they definitely perform better with my build; however, I had to add the quiet baffle for my own riding enjoyment and it does reduce the db's to a very acceptable level.
