Default What do you do with your mp3 player?

I have the stock Harley radio in my '01 Ultra, and I plug my mp3 player into it, coil up the excess cord, and until now, have just stuck the player in my fairing pocket.

Today, I went to Wally World and bought some little velcro dots to stick the player to the inner fairing. It works, but I'm not happy with it. Doesn't seem very secure, and wants to flop around a lot.

What do you guys do with yours?

Ram Mount.

Do a search - lots of products. The "U-Bolt" one isn't that good looking, but you can get a ball mount that attaches to your switch cover. It'll make more sense when you look them up.

There are other ball mounts that attach to your bars and don't look like crap. Maybe someone can chime in and provide some info. I think a site sponsor makes one too.

I do the velrco also, someday I'll break down and spend the $$$ on the interface. Till then this works for me.

I mounted a RAM mount for my iPhone and SPOT tracker in my tour pak and ran the patch cable and power to the tour pak as well.

Keeps everything secure, dry and away from low-lifes and prying eyes. Works great. Still have to clean it up a bit, but so far it works well.

I have a small MP3 player, attached with heavy duty velcro (3M brand I believe). I also got a short (8"?) cord from Radio Shack. Very secure and no extra cord to mess with.

I have the interface... Kind of a ripoff but being able to control it from the handlebars is awesome!
