I never gave much thought to the Road Glide but as soon as I saw the RGU I liked it. Last summer I test rode one three different times and I was hooked; just can't afford the bike yet. Don't slam me for this comparison but, it handles like a Goldwing at high speeds due to the "Fugly" fairing but has the good HD feel. I would have one now if I could scrape up the extra money.

I had the same problem with the EG. The new frame handles so much better than my '06 Road King did and the EG weighs over 100 lbs. more. The transition from left to right and back, such as weaving between objects, is effortless.

I enjoyed my 07 FLHT STD but I'm really impressed with how my 2011 FLTRX103 rides & handles. The 07 was a bit softer in the rear.

If I win the lottery any time soon, I'll buy another RGC in Sedona Orage and upgrade her with a 120R engine, 12" apes, big bags, and bitchin audio system. Hey I can dream can't I.....

I am totally with you. The Road Glide Custom sold me and I would not trade it for any other bike. Life is good!
