Every HD I ever had I did cam/cams, A/C, pipes. My new bike 2011 FLTRX 103 I'm not doing anything to the engine. It runs fine stock. IMO, save your money & take some road trips. When you get ready to trade or sale your bike you ain't going to get your money back out of it. In the old days you could. but not now. That's just my 2 cents. Good luck whatever you do.

Get a D&D Fatcat and you'll get performance and sound and still have a grand in your pocket for a rainy day.

As for true duals killing torque, we had a debate on that here some while ago. When I installed my S&S 107 I asked the Company about TDs and they told me they are a recommended set-up for that motor. I get more torque than they claim the motor will give, so no loss there! That is not to suggest a different exhaust will not be even better, but I think the jury is out on that subject!
Definitely lost torque on my 07, notice the true duals aren't on it anymore. There's a reason or two for that. They did help the top end power, but I don't run around with my engine racing at 6k RPMs. I got much better power out of the Jackpots.

It appears that there is direct ratio.......More Motor= Bigger Smile + Bigger Head Nod. With that said the kit is the way to go
