cjackermann,

Does this include head work, or using your stock heads?

It's a no brainer to me, go with the 95" kit.

Duals will likely NOT out perform your current set up. I wouldn't spend $1,800 just for sound. Rush's you can change out the baffle if needed. Plus they sound pretty good to me.

You can do slip-on's or exhaust later. More hp/tq will put a lot more smiles on your face!

PM Drew from Dr. VTwin and he will provide you a good price without taxes and fair shipping.
Also try phatperformanceparts.com They have a great website and competitive pricing.
Point is, buy online and you'll save on taxes and usually get around 10-20% off retail.

An example:

V&H dresser duals: 374.95 http://www.phatperformanceparts.com/...er_p/16729.htm
V&H Twin slash (just some basic mufflers) 347.95 http://www.phatperformanceparts.com/...uf_p/16763.htm
= 722.90 with FREE SHIPPING and NO Tax...

I had that dilema 8 years ago. I went to the race track twice in one weekend. The first trip I hit a Trifecta that paid $1800.00. The second trip I picked another Trifecta for $2400.00. At the time I had a Soft Tail Standard. There wasn't alot of chrome on this bike and my thoughts were to chrome that thing out. Well, with the winnings,, You guessed it, Straight to the HD dealer. The bike looked good, but in looking back, I should of done something else with the money.

Do the 95" kit with the tune.. You will get more miles out of it.. You can find Rineharts for $650 shipped to your door brand new.. Check eBay.. I think I got mine from EasternPerformance if memory serves me correctly.

Okay.... one more quick question then I am committing.....

three are a million kits out there, Dragos has a 97" kit, S&S has a 97" kit Harley has their 95 " kit.. and there were a few more I saw. they all look to be around 900 bucks with the cams and pushrods...

any one have any direction here or just go with Harley.?
