Limited FLHTK: OEM Oil Cooler Swap
Just curious if anyone with a Limited FLHTK has swapped out the OEM Oil Cooler for an aftermarket one?
I haven’t ridden mine yet during the hot season and I’m not sure if the OEM cooler does the job or not. Of course living out west I do “most” of my riding fall – spring, just get too dang hot here in the summer.
If you have swapped yours out, what is a good product and what kind of results have you had?

First off an Oil cooler is not going to make your engine run cooler. All it does is cool the oil. The engine is not predominately "oil cooled", it's air cooled. So if you have a hot running engine you need to do something with the fuel-air mixture.
Second, go ride the bike before you change anything... You may find that it runs just fine.
