Glad to hear that you are ok. Did the driver get ticketed? What did the responding officer do or say?

Holy ****, can't image the nervous you went through but can definitely get with the taking it out on him by cursing him out. If he was so concerned about his kids he would have been paying attention. So I guess he wasn't concerned about the impact on your old lady!!!!! It seems that this is a re occurring theme but the penalties are not stiff enough. Glade you and the old lady weren't hurt But what if you were, only thing he suffers is higher insurance premiums?

Chillax, bro. Lifted or not, is another issue. Bottom line is, that guy would have hit the bike no matter what he was driving.

I'm certainly glad the op is ok, and hope for a speedy recovery of the bike.

You are 100% correct. As much as we'd like to sit back and enjoy our ride, we have to be very aware of our surroundings, when we're moving and sitting still alike.

Good that you're ok. Sounds like about the best accident you can have on a bike with 0 injuries. People dont pay attention and there's far to many people on the road that shouldnt be.

Same thing happened to me about four years ago in a brand new vette. Moron in an SUV slams into me at a stoplight. CELLPHONE A-hole.
It scared the crap out of me, I could just imagine what it felt like on a bike.
Nothing scares me more than being in front of a teenage girl on a cellphone.
