northside i totally agree with you. i have an 08 streetglide and my vance and hines chrome pro pipe is extremely crisp, and has plenty of that deep tone that i wanted. that sound that reaches out and touches your soul. the stage 3 103" motor is a huge benefit when it comes to that harley sound.
Yeah, but so many guys ask about exhausts and say, " I just don't like the look of only a pipe on one side" or "it just doesn't look like a Harley." It's like a chick shopping for jeans, "do these jeans make my *** look fat?" Unfortunately so many people just don't get it, Baggers are heavy and anything you can do to improve low end grunt makes the bike more fun to ride. A good 2 into 1 will give you instant throttle response and smooth power up to red line, and they eliminate a bunch of junk that was hanging on the other side of the bike that wasn't doing anything but slowing you down. Oh well, their loss not ours.
