I bought the short antenna's and used a rubber washer between the antenna and base of threaded part and hand tighten, easy on easy off and have never had a problem with them in 3 years...not sure if this is what your looking for or not..good luck

Why not use the short rubber looking ones? Just a thought.

I've got a shorter version of the "30 Foot Tall" Harley antenna but, to be honest, I never thought about using a rubber washer between the mount and the mast. This works well for you and doesn't seem to cause "major" problems with reception? The rubber wahser keeps it from coming loose ... and that is primarily what I was looking for. Thanks for the tip GMAN1953. My mind isn't quite what it use to be ... of course it never really was exceptional !

That happened to mine due to the way I have to park the bike in the garage.

Now I just unscrew the one antenna thats in the way.

Why not remove it off the tourpak and keep it off. There were posts in another thread that showed how to mount the antenna sideways inside the fairing. I did this to mine so I could remove the tourpak and not worry about where to put the antenna. I don't use the CB so I just unhooked the cable for the CB and tied it under the side cover. A $2 vacuum cap covers the antenna mounts on the tourpak.

Here's a pic...
