Never. Jeans at a minimum. Won't let my wife ride without shorts either. While I'd rather have her in shorts, I'd prefer she had a much better chance of keeping her skin intact if some idiot left turns in front of us.

 

You can somewhat tell a person's intelligent's by what they ware while riding a motorcycle.

 

They'd look really stupid with my boots.

 

I would be blinding drivers with my white a$$ legs, which would cause some other issues...so, nope, no shorts!

I did until last year at a bike event. I jumped off my bike and rubbed up against a Rocker and his pipe ended up with some of my skin off the calf muscle. So lesson learned no shorts and it was painful as chit !!!!!!!!!

 

NO!! have you ever had a bee sting you while riding? What about a bee going up you shorts & stinging your D__K HEAD!!!! Of course the sting won't be as bad as the road rash!!!

But my flip flops stay in the bag until I get to where I'm going then I just exchange the boots, coat, and chaps for the flip flops....I especially like to do this on hotass days....

I feel the same way about short sleeve or sleeveless t-shirts. I live in the beach area in San Diego and during the summer I see all these idiots riding around the beach in shorts, flip flops and sleeveless shirts with the babe on back in a bikini and barefoot. Although the babe looks hot, most of the time I'm thinking what they and the driver will look like if the have to dump it over. Won't be a pretty site! Besides the required helmet, the boots, jeans and leather jacket are always on and secured! And so will my babe!
