Woody's fairing, good stuff had it for 18 months and I wouldn't go without it.

I took off my windshield and put a fairing on. It's a world of difference IMO.

Before, with a Memphis Shades windshield

After, w/ a Reckless fairing and LRS 10" Ultra windshield

You know, I never did either. But I read some reviews on the Billboard Flare and the protection it gave you from the cold on your hands. That's what got my attention. Well, it does that and more. Very calm behind the windshield in the "pocket". Even though stability was not a problem for me at highway speeds, it's amazing how stable much more and planted the front end feels now. Just another one of the small things that add up to a better ride.

Hmmm..the Flare sounds interesting......but it is lower than the OEM shield? It creates a calm pocket of air being lower even for someone at my height? I would think something like the LR at 22" protects more? Just wondering I guess as my MS Shades was at 21" and works fantastic on VTX

I have the 22" police model (2" over stock) and I get no buffeting.

Never had a problem with mine either but replaced it because of scratches. I put on a 22" Memphis Shades gradient purple. People on here are always busting my chops about the color of my bike but everyone I meet loves the color, or so they say... BTW, I don't WANT to look over the windshield but through it. I want all the protection I can get when I have it on but when it is hot I am all over riding without. Kind of like putting the top down on a convertible. One of the reasons a Road King is such a sweet bike. The versatility it has to offer.

A 17" LRS Medium Tint windshield. I like it and it works great. Also like the darker tint to go with my ride.

I have the police model. Not sure of the height but based on the previous post, I it's 22". Anyway, it's awesome. No wind issues at highway speeds or any speed. Wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but I love it. Never ridden anything like it it's awesome.
