Default Anybody in Sicily Italy?

I will be there in a few months and plan to do a lot of riding. So if there is somebody who could show me around, that would be great.

I think they have a HOG chapter at Sigonella Base or you could join the Catania Hog chapter , in case you should venture farther up the mainland I'll be happy to show you the central part of the boot.

I do plan on traveling up that way from time to time.... I want to do A LOT of riding while I am there. Plus I am told it is a must for me to come to Rome.... I will definitely be joining the base chapter as soon as I get there.

Check out advrider.com That's a big international motorcyclists forum, thousands of people from different countries on it (if you don't get what you are looking for here). Lots of friendly people there...lots more sarcasm...but members there will gladly meet up with you when you get to Italy and show you around.

Just got back from Italy not too long ago. Great trip, so much history. Just be careful of the 20,000 or so scooters in Roma, those guys and gals are nuts.

Be Safe and Thank you for your service to our Country.

They drive so crazy over there. It's like nascar all day long. Exciting to say the least. My favorite memories are riding three cars abreast going down a two lane highway running oncoming traffic on to the shoulder...

The place is dangerous in a Car, more on a bike. Be careful...

Good news is the place is beautiful with massive amounts of history and scenic views. Well worth it.

I am finishing up a tour in Naples, bike should be packed up next month. I have been to SIG, but not on a bike. Been up to Germany, Austria, Slovenia... They have a great group on base down there, the civilian Safety Officer here spends time down there training MSF rider coaches and giving classes. PM me, I can get some contact info for folks down there.
